Management Controller (English fluent) – Porto – Hybrid

About the role

BNP Paribas Cardif is looking for a Management Controller to join its International Management Reporting (IMR) team at the European Service Center in Porto. You will work in a multicultural environment, supporting the Group's business lines and functions in financial management, reporting, and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in month‑end closing, perform controls and analyses to ensure data consistency.
• Understand result construction and multi‑standard accounting translation.
• Support budget development, produce reports and contribute to forecast dashboards.
• Collaborate with local financial teams worldwide and the Head Office for data consolidation.
• Take part in tool evolution projects (Tagetik) and broader transformation initiatives.
• Conduct ad‑hoc studies and analyses requested by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar finance or controlling role.
• Background in banking, insurance, or consulting is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large data sets.
• Proactive, rigorous and comfortable in a fast‑changing environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including complex functions).
• Tagetik financial reporting tool.
• VBA programming.
• Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
