Maintenance Technician – Weekend Shift (Sat & Sun 6h‑18h)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Maintenance Technician to join our new production plant in Viana, Portugal, working the weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday, 6 am‑6 pm). The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and performance of a wide range of industrial equipment used in automotive power‑drive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, programming, robotics and laser equipment.
• Assist with the installation, validation and start‑up of new machinery.
• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance, including diagnostics, repairs, adjustments and equipment optimisation.
• Test equipment before and after interventions and document corrective actions.
• Maintain cleanliness, storage and control of tools, appliances and spare parts.
• Guide operators on proper equipment use and support production techniques such as 5S and visual management.
• Participate in problem‑solving activities and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday).
