Maintenance Assistant

About the role

The Maintenance Assistant provides administrative, logistical and safety support to the Maintenance Department, ensuring smooth coordination of procurement, documentation and contractor activities.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage purchase orders, request quotes and track procurement status for maintenance materials and services.
• Create, update and close work orders in the CMMS, maintain archives of records, certifications and warranties.
• Coordinate with external contractors, arrange visits, handle access requests and safety onboarding.
• Support safety program reporting by compiling maintenance‑related safety data and ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist inventory reconciliation for spare parts, tools and consumables, maintaining asset tags and calibration schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in maintenance, logistics or industrial operations.
• Associate degree in Industrial Management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of safety principles and maintenance processes in an industrial environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with ERP or CMMS systems (NAV preferred).
• Strong organizational and follow‑up abilities.
