LV/MV Cable Technician – International Projects (3 weeks on/1 week off)

About the role

We are seeking experienced LV/MV Cable Technicians to support our international renewable‑energy projects. The role involves installing, terminating, testing and commissioning low‑ and medium‑voltage power cable systems for major energy infrastructure worldwide, operating on a 3‑weeks‑on/1‑week‑off rotation based in Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Route, install and connect LV and MV power cables on‑site and in factory settings.
• Perform cable terminations and joints for both LV and MV systems.
• Carry out electrical testing, including VLF, insulation resistance and continuity tests.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot cable issues to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, documentation and project specifications.
• Support commissioning activities and verify that all work meets health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe, organized condition.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proven experience routing, installing and connecting LV/MV cables.
• Hands‑on experience with LV/MV terminations and joints in both factory and field environments.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
• High attention to detail and effective problem‑solving abilities.
