Logistics & Purchasing Manager – Home & Living (Remote)

About the role

Salaterra, an international furniture and home‑decor brand, is seeking a Logistics & Purchasing Manager to lead its international supply chain for the Home & Living segment. This remote, hands‑on position will report directly to the COO and will be pivotal in scaling purchasing and logistics processes as the company expands across more than 30 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end international purchasing and import/export logistics for large and heavy consumer goods.
• Track purchase orders from supplier confirmation through final customer delivery.
• Coordinate shipments, inbound warehouse operations, and handle logistics incidents with preventive measures.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards covering costs, lead times, margins and incident rates.
• Collaborate closely with customer‑service and sales teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
• Lead and develop a purchasing/logistics assistant.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in international purchasing & logistics.
• At least 3 years focused on Home & Living, furniture, or consumer‑goods shipping.
• Direct experience sourcing or managing suppliers in Asia, preferably China.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and large‑item transport.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to create actionable reports.
• Fluent English (C1); Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / spreadsheet modelling.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.
• Experience with Tableau.
