Logistics Operations Specialist

About the role

Continental Tool Group Ltd. is looking for an experienced Logistics & Operations Specialist to manage warehouse and logistics activities across its Portuguese and UK sites. The role combines hands‑on warehouse operations with analytical tasks aimed at improving inventory accuracy, reducing costs, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse processes including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping.
• Verify incoming materials, record transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Perform incoming inspections, manage non‑conforming material documentation and coordinate quality issue resolution.
• Support product assembly, basic repairs and warranty return processes (RMA).
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, suppliers, freight carriers and customs partners.
• Travel between Portugal and the United Kingdom at least twice a year.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Solid understanding of international logistics, customs procedures and warehouse operations.
• Ability to work onsite in Portugal following UK working hours (9 am‑6 pm).
• Motivated, detail‑oriented and proactive in identifying process improvements.
