Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will own end‑to‑end logistics planning, execution and performance for the Portuguese market. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, factories and the Global Supply Chain team, you will ensure market continuity, regulatory compliance and cost‑effective inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Translate commercial forecasts into executable logistics and supply plans and lead the S&OP process.
• Prepare logistics readiness for price changes, product launches and promotional initiatives.
• Manage inventory strategies, free‑cash‑flow targets, ageing control and quota‑related stock builds.
• Coordinate with distributors to ensure smooth inbound flows, storage and issue resolution.
• Escalate and mitigate operational risks with distributors, factories and GSC.
• Maintain full accountability for logistics compliance in Portugal, including Track & Trace, tax stamps and local regulatory requirements.
• Monitor write‑offs, stock levels and drive continuous improvement for efficiency and standardisation.
• Own logistics data integrity, oversee planning in SAP IBP and validate shipment plans and inventory projections.

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics planning, inventory management and S&OP processes.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and tax‑stamp requirements in Portugal.
