Logistics Assistant – Porto

About the role

The Logistics Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the logistics team, helping to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, manage inventory records, monitor deliveries and maintain accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
• Monitor delivery schedules and track shipments to ensure timely arrival.
• Maintain accurate logistics, inventory, and transportation records.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers, warehouses and internal departments.
• Support stock‑control activities, including inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Investigate and report delivery discrepancies, shortages or damaged goods.
• Update logistics systems and databases with relevant information.
• Assist with forecasting, planning and inventory‑management activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health‑and‑safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.

Required skills
