Linux System Administrator

About the role

Noesis is seeking a Linux System Administrator to manage and optimise enterprise‑grade Linux environments. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and security while driving automation and supporting cloud‑based infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain RHEL, Oracle Linux, or Rocky Linux servers, guaranteeing system uptime and security.
• Design and implement automation using Bash, Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, performing root‑cause analysis and applying corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy, support, and optimise networking, virtualization, storage, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Linux system administration experience.
• Proactive, dynamic, with strong organisational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• RHEL, Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux.
• Bash, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell scripting.
• Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls).
• Virtualisation technologies.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
