Legal Manager – In‑House Counsel (Lisbon)

About the role

YILPORT Holding is seeking a Legal Manager to join its Lisbon headquarters. The role provides in‑house legal support for YILPORT’s Iberian operations and its global logistics subsidiary, Transitex Global, in a fast‑moving port and transportation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including logistics, transportation, agency, supplier, service contracts, NDAs, MoUs and framework agreements.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to business teams and senior management across Iberian operations.
• Support corporate governance for Portuguese and Spanish entities.
• Advise on legal matters related to port operations, maritime law, transportation and logistics.
• Manage disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel and overseeing strategy and costs.
• Assist HR on Portuguese employment law issues and liaise with external labour counsel when needed.
• Ensure compliance with Portuguese, Spanish and EU regulations, concessions and key contracts.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer under Portuguese law with a valid bar licence.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in‑house.
• Strong generalist background; experience in maritime law, port operations, transportation or logistics is a plus.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish proficiency and qualification under Spanish law are advantageous.
• Mid‑senior to senior level, able to work independently and act as a pragmatic business partner.
• Current In‑House Counsel or Senior Associate seeking a broader, high‑impact role.
