Legal Counsel (Remote)

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its global portfolio of social discovery products. This fully remote position will provide legal guidance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation for a fast‑growing, digitally‑focused company.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring legal consistency and timely execution.
• Oversee formation, maintenance, and dissolution of legal entities worldwide, developing governance frameworks.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for cross‑functional teams, delivering practical advice on day‑to‑day matters.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, HR, and Operations on strategic initiatives and risk management.
• Maintain and update internal legal resources, templates, and training materials to promote self‑service.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of routine legal workflows to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract lifecycle management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
• Strong knowledge of consumer protection laws in the EU and the USA.
• Familiarity with marketing and advertising compliance regulations in the EU and the USA.
• Understanding of EU and US digital legislation, including AI governance.
• Russian language proficiency at C1+ level.
• English language proficiency at B2+ level.
