Legal Counsel – Commercial & General (Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for a driven and ambitious lawyer to join our international In‑House Legal Team, supporting Fever’s fast‑growing operations with primary responsibility for Brazil. Reporting directly to the Lead Counsel IBERIA, you will play a key role in enabling Fever’s continued regional expansion in Portugal and the rest of the Iberia region.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and revise Portuguese and English commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP documentation and related legal documents.
• Support commercial teams in negotiating deals and related documentation.
• Research legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritize and manage legal matters.
• Contribute to knowledge management and operational excellence by creating templates, guides and processes.
• Participate in ongoing compliance functions and provide product‑related legal advice.
• Upskill, support and mentor other team members.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience in a Portuguese‑speaking jurisdiction.
• Professional fluency in Portuguese and English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration and emotional‑intelligence skills.
• Experience working on international projects or with global teams.
• Adaptable team player eager to learn.
