About the role

Join Hitachi Solutions Portugal as a Lead Data Consultant and drive cutting‑edge data and advanced analytics solutions for top European companies. You will advise clients on best practices, design scalable platforms and mentor a growing analytics team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory services on advanced analytics and data‑engineering best practices.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery from requirements gathering to solution design and implementation.
• Design and develop bespoke data platforms, BI and AI solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and Power BI.
• Architect and optimise enterprise data‑engineering pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and data models.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the growth of the Portugal analytics practice.

Required profile

• 10+ years designing and delivering cloud‑based data engineering, analytics and AI solutions, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Proven client‑facing experience with a track record of leading teams or projects.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and client‑management skills.
