Laboratory Maintenance Technician

About the role

FairJourney Biologics is looking for a Laboratory Maintenance Technician to ensure that all laboratory equipment operates according to manufacturers' specifications. The role covers equipment installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization within a fast‑paced CRO environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans for laboratory instruments.
• Support laboratory re‑structuring projects, including electrical, HVAC, gas line, and AVAC installations.
• Coordinate with external vendors and manufacturers for new equipment installations and maintenance contracts.
• Perform internal preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of maintenance activities and troubleshooting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience installing and maintaining equipment in a laboratory setting.
• Proven ability to define and execute maintenance plans according to manufacturer requirements.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and ability to work both independently and in a team.
