Key Account Manager Iberian Zone

About the role

Plastivaloire Group, a leading international automotive plastics company, is expanding across the Iberian region and seeks a senior Key Account Manager to drive growth with strategic automotive customers. Based in Marinha Grande, you will act as the primary business partner for major OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers, shaping the region’s revenue and market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic accounts across the Iberian zone.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with automotive OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers.
• Lead RFQs, commercial negotiations and new business acquisitions.
• Prepare budgets and business plans, incorporating price‑reduction and productivity targets.
• Monitor program profitability and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate closely with industrial, project, purchasing and controlling teams.
• Ensure reliability of commercial and financial data used for business management.
• Represent the Group with senior‑level stakeholders and drive strategic topics independently.

Required profile

• Proven track record in the automotive industry with experience developing strategic customer accounts.
• Higher education degree in business, engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous role as Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager or Sales Manager within the automotive sector.
• Deep understanding of Tier‑1 environment and major OEM requirements.
• Analytical and strategic mindset, capable of building business cases, negotiating and making results‑oriented decisions.
• Fluent English; Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Autonomous, proactive and results‑oriented professional able to build long‑term customer relationships.
