Jurist Contracts & New Technologies

About the role

Join Generix Group’s international legal team as a Jurist focused on contracts and new technologies. You will provide legal support for procurement and commercial activities across the Iberian Peninsula, ensuring that technology‑related agreements are sound, compliant, and aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft supplier contracts, including SaaS agreements, software licences, service and maintenance contracts, and other technology‑related agreements.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks associated with procurement contracts, ensuring protection of the Company’s commitments.
• Support procurement teams with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach throughout negotiations.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments related to new technologies in Portugal and Spain.
• Act as the local legal point of contact for commercial teams in Lisbon and Madrid, coordinating with the Group Legal Department in France.
• Participate in the review of customer contracts and provide paralegal support on local administrative matters.
• Collaborate regularly with the Data Protection Officer and Chief Information Security Officer on cybersecurity and data‑protection aspects during contract negotiations.

Required profile

• Based in Portugal or Spain and serve as the local legal liaison for commercial activities.
• Report to the Group Legal Department headquartered in France.
• Work closely with the DPO and CISO on data‑protection and security considerations.
