Junior/Intermediate Applied AI Specialist – Voice AI

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Applied AI Specialist to join our growing Voice AI team. You will start by owning feature testing and quality assurance for Voice AI products and progress toward a Forward Deployed Engineer role, directly configuring and deploying AI solutions for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and maintain test cases, run regression testing, and log defects for Voice AI features.
• Apply testing practices such as TDD, property‑based testing, unit, integration, end‑to‑end and user‑acceptance testing across development, staging and production environments.
• Configure, deploy and support Voice AI solutions (e.g., ElevenLabs, Twilio, Amazon Connect) in customer pilots and production roll‑outs.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly with customers and translate feedback into actionable tickets.
• Evaluate AI model performance using accuracy, precision, recall, F1 and balance latency, quality and cost.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Voice AI platforms (ElevenLabs, Twilio, Amazon Connect) or telephony concepts (SIP, WebRTC, IVR).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior customer‑facing, QA, support or implementation experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Python or JavaScript/TypeScript programming.
• Git version control (branching, merging, pull requests).
• API testing tools (Postman) and automated testing frameworks (pytest, Jest, Playwright).
• Project‑management tools such as Jira and Linear.
• Understanding of model evaluation metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, F1) and trade‑offs.
