Junior Systems Administrator (On-site)

About the role

Eurotux is seeking a motivated Junior Systems Administrator to work on‑site at a client’s facilities in Anadia. You will join a dynamic project team, providing day‑to‑day IT support and ensuring the stability of the client’s infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems and related applications for end users.
• Monitor the client’s IT infrastructure and respond to incidents promptly.
• Diagnose and resolve system and network issues to maintain high availability.
• Maintain strong customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.
• Coordinate with Eurotux’s remote support team when additional assistance is required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Residency in Anadia or nearby (southern Aveiro or northern Coimbra) with immediate availability.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong analytical, planning and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Configuration and management of Windows operating systems.
• Configuration and management of Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP protocols.
• Experience with system monitoring tools.
