Junior Pricing of Exotic Derivatives Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Pricing of Exotic Derivatives Analyst to join Inetum’s quantitative finance team in Lisbon. The role focuses on pricing complex OTC derivatives, supporting the Front Office and ensuring robust operational controls. You will work in a risk‑aware environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate valuations.

Key responsibilities

• Price exotic OTC derivatives with high accuracy and consistency.
• Implement and maintain operational and fraud controls to minimise risk.
• Identify, document and escalate valuation or process issues to management and control teams.
• Support a low overall risk profile covering financial, reputational, legal and regulatory aspects.
• Ensure smooth production flows and timely delivery of pricing outputs.
• Provide client‑focused support to Front Office, addressing ad‑hoc requests.
• Collaborate effectively with Front Office, control, and other cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of financial markets, OTC derivatives and the swap lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of risk awareness and operational controls.
• High attention to detail and a rigorous working approach.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Client‑focused mindset with ability to support Front Office requirements.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
