IT Technical Support Specialist

About the role

The IT Technical Support Specialist provides hardware and software assistance to employees and airline operations, ensuring systems are installed, configured, and maintained efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on user devices and airport stations.
• Install and configure operating systems, applications, and peripheral equipment for staff and airline counters.
• Support users with software, hardware, profile, and password queries.
• Deploy and verify new applications, ensuring compatibility with existing platforms such as Java, Kronos, Oracle, and airline‑specific systems.
• Track software licensing, manage inventory of supplies, and distribute toner as needed.
• Configure access roles and permissions across various applications.
• Assist with network connectivity, IP phone, and PBX troubleshooting.
• Provide remote assistance and manage service‑desk tickets across Tier 1‑3 levels.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of relevant technical support experience.
• Industry certifications such as ITIL 4 Foundation, A+, Security+, or CCNA preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
