IT Systems Administrator

About the role

Prodapt is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to manage and secure its dual‑environment server infrastructure. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring both Windows and Linux servers to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server versions and Linux distributions (CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu Enterprise) on physical and virtual platforms.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP and manage user identities across hybrid networks.
• Provision and scale workloads using VMware vSphere or Hyper‑V and manage NAS/SAN storage arrays.
• Implement OS hardening, vulnerability management, endpoint protection and patch deployment.
• Define, execute and test enterprise backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Monitor system performance with tools such as Nagios, Zabbix or Datadog and address bottlenecks proactively.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator or in infrastructure engineering.
• Associate degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Strong dual‑proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration, including Bash scripting and PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, VLANs, firewalls and VPN routing.
• Must be able to work fully onsite.
