IT Support Engineer – Temenos T24 (L1/L2)

About the role

In the context of the bank’s strategic project to transform the Wealth Management Core Banking platform, the IT team in Chennai is growing. We are seeking a TRANSACT Product RTB L1/L2 Specialist to provide production support with T24 Transact experience. The role ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations, incident resolution, problem management, and continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Close of Business (COB) process in the Transact production environment, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Provide L1 support: monitor, respond to, and resolve user queries and minor technical issues, maintaining the knowledge base.
• Provide L2 support: analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, collaborate with L3/Temenos teams, and manage patches and upgrades.
• Facilitate ticket resolution by conducting thorough analysis, communicating status to stakeholders, and delivering satisfactory solutions.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams (Business Technology, Infrastructure) to troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and problems.
• Contribute to the knowledge base by creating FAQs, how‑to guides, and developing tools to reduce analysis time.

Required profile

• Good fluency in English (minimum B2).
• Experience with Temenos Transact (T24) L1/L2 production support.
• Strong knowledge of RTB (Run the Bank) operations, incident management and production support.
• Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Shell scripting and log analysis.
• Familiarity with banking interfaces, APIs, middleware and core banking functional streams.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA) and CI/CD, version‑control tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and containerised applications.
• Understanding of banking operations, wealth management and ITIL framework.
