IT Risks Specialist – Porto (Hybrid)

About the role

We are a technology consulting firm seeking an IT Risks Specialist to join our international insurance team in Porto. You will support IT risk management, governance and DORA compliance in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve IT governance processes.
• Manage the full IT risk lifecycle: identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting.
• Maintain risk registers and documentation in ServiceNow.
• Prepare governance and risk reports for local and Group stakeholders.
• Organise and participate in IT risk, cyber‑security and steering committees.
• Monitor audit recommendations and remediation plans.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of DORA governance requirements.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders to ensure compliance with Group standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Professional experience in IT risk, governance, information security or GRC, preferably in banking, insurance or financial services.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
• Proactive, analytical and results‑oriented mindset.
