IT Project Manager – Digital Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead our Data Lake and digital transformation initiatives at Zumtobel Group. The role will coordinate cross‑functional teams, align business and technical stakeholders, and drive projects from analysis through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide digitalisation projects, coordinating implementations with stakeholders across departments and IT.
• Develop detailed project plans, allocating personnel, budget and time resources.
• Manage project teams, oversee activities and make decisions to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive strategic initiatives to align structures and processes for growth and efficiency.
• Utilise Microsoft 365 tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Planner, Teams and SharePoint to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management, familiar with common methodologies and tools.
• Strong interest in digitalisation within an industrial environment.
• Proactive, solution‑driven mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Experience with change‑management projects is a plus.
• Ability to assemble and lead diverse teams, including external specialists.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 (O365) applications.
• Proficiency in MS Planner, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of SAP (beneficial but not required).
