IT Infrastructure Manager – Nearshore Sector

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, execution‑focused IT Infrastructure Manager to drive the digital reliability of our core backend architecture. Reporting to the CIO, you will bridge strategy and day‑to‑day execution across networks, servers and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and drive execution across two core backend pillars: Systems (Cloud First) and Network Architecture.
• Drive continuous migration from legacy infrastructure to automated, software‑defined environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage, secure and optimise global corporate and cloud networking architectures (SD‑WAN, SASE, VPNs, switches, routers, firewalls) to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
• Partner with local IT departments across EMEA to harmonise technology stacks and enforce unified infrastructure standards.
• Target 99.9%+ availability for critical systems and manage incident, problem and change workflows for the infrastructure layer.
• Oversee the I&O budget, applying FinOps methodologies to control cloud consumption and optimise hardware procurement.
• Maintain, test and evolve Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans for cloud and hybrid footprints.
• Collaborate with the CISO to embed DevSecOps security and ensure compliance with GDPR, NIS2 and other European regulations.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with at least 3 years managing specialised backend operational teams in an international context.
• Strong technical expertise in modern cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) and Infrastructure as Code.
• Deep understanding of enterprise networking architectures (SD‑WAN, SASE, VPNs, firewalls).
• Practical knowledge of DevOps principles within the ITIL v4 framework (ITIL v3 Foundation required).
• Highly operational mindset with the grit to deliver complex backend projects.
• Strong financial acumen in cloud cost control (FinOps) and backend procurement.
• Full professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
