About the role

We are looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to join our on‑site support team in Oeiras. The role focuses on delivering first‑ and second‑level assistance to internal users, ensuring smooth daily operations and rapid incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide first and second level support for daily business activities and operational preparations.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and changes using the ITSM system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows clients.
  • Support password resets, account lockouts, and access permissions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 devices and applications via SCCM/Configuration Manager.
  • Administer Active Directory accounts, Group Policies, and access controls.
  • Deploy patches, security updates, and antivirus definitions.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventories.
  • Support peripheral devices, VTC systems, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with network connectivity troubleshooting and coordinate with network teams.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and perform regular security checks.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, SOIs, and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Provide user guidance, training, and best‑practice recommendations.

Required profile

  • 3–5 years of experience supporting end‑user devices, hardware, and software.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator for Windows clients.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and ITSM tools.
