IT / CSV Specialist for Laboratory Systems

About the role

PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation for Life Sciences, is looking for an IT / CSV Specialist to support laboratory applications, infrastructure and validation activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide IT support for laboratory applications such as Empower, SmartLab and Darwin LIMS, including user administration and troubleshooting.
• Maintain hardware and software infrastructure (Citrix, Windows 10 IoT, Windows Server, network connectivity) and laboratory peripherals like barcode scanners, printers and biometric devices.
• Author and execute IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, manage change control, periodic reviews and system retirement activities in compliance with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+, GMP and GLP.
• Manage GxP user accounts, roles, access reviews and Active Directory permissions, and coordinate support with vendors (Waters, Agilent, PerkinElmer).

Required profile

• 3+ years of IT support experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other GxP environment.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently, provide on‑call support and collaborate with local IT teams.

Required skills

• Empower CDS administration and experience with SmartLab, Darwin LIMS or similar laboratory applications.
• Proficiency with Citrix, Windows 10 IoT, Windows Server and ServiceNow (or other ITSM tools).
• Knowledge of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+, GMP and GLP compliance.
• Experience with Active Directory, user access management and laboratory instrument connectivity.
