Investment & Strategy Analyst – Lisbon

About the role

We are looking for an Investment & Strategy Analyst to join our new Lisbon office. You will work on deep fundamental research and strategic due diligence for software and technology companies, supporting multi‑million investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep fundamental research on software and technology companies.
• Perform strategic due diligence and financial analysis on publicly listed and privately owned firms.
• Leverage quantitative modelling and generate qualitative insights through expert interviews.
• Collaborate with a team of ex‑Tier 1 management consultants and deliver high‑quality deliverables.
• Monitor identified companies daily and prepare financial research, screening, and communication materials.
• Lead English‑language interviews with professional experts and support process improvement.

Required profile

• Tier‑1 engineering or business school graduate specializing in Business, Finance, Corporate finance, Engineering or Strategy.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience in strategy, finance or business, including internships in finance/tech/start‑up environments.
• Excellent analytical abilities and strong Excel skills.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to identify key inputs and correlations.
• Strong oral and written communication in English; additional languages (French, German, Italian) are a plus.
