International Financial Adviser (IFA) - Self-Employed

About the role

A privately owned, long-established international wealth management firm growing across Europe is looking for self-employed, Level 4+ qualified International Financial Advisers to join its advisory team. The firm is open to onboarding as many strong advisers as it can, provided they meet professional and ethical standards. It is particularly in demand for advisers based in Vilamoura or the Algarve; in-country candidates are preferred, though remote or office-based work is possible.

Required profile

• Self-employed, with a minimum Level 4 qualification (or higher)
• Strong understanding of cross-border advice and a client-first, relationship-driven approach
• Existing Assets Under Management preferred, but not a deal-breaker; no structured notes or loan notes in the portfolio
• At least three years of experience in a UK wealth management business; UK CISI/CII Level 4 qualified advisers are the main target
• EU passport holders strongly preferred, with a predominantly EU-based client base; Asia is possible only for advisers with substantial existing AUM
