International Accountant (Remote)

About the role

WorkMotion is looking for an International Accountant to join its remote‑first finance team. You will act as a financial problem‑solver and trusted business partner, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions while supporting rapid global growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations for several entities, adhering to local and international standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including group consolidation and analytical insights.
• Review and submit VAT and other tax declarations, guaranteeing accuracy and timely filing.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and tax obligations, coordinating transfer‑pricing studies with local providers.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors and local accounting service providers.
• Reconcile accounts, perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial statements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international or multi‑company environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT compliance and group reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Netsuite.
• Advanced Excel skills and a detail‑oriented, analytical mindset.
