Insurance Agent (Life & Disability) – Gurabo

About the role

Triple‑S is looking for a motivated Insurance Agent to join its team in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. You will be responsible for selling individual life and disability insurance policies while ensuring premium collections are handled accurately and promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Sell life and disability insurance policies on an assigned route.
• Collect outstanding premiums from policyholders and participants.
• Record, balance, and reconcile daily sales and premium collections.
• Deposit collected premiums each day into the company‑provided bank account.
• Attend manager‑led meetings to report sales results and collection performance.
• Act as the primary communication link between the company and clients.
• Assist clients with filing claims and follow up on claim processing.
• Perform other duties related to the position as required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or Commercial Technical Course.
• At least 6 months of experience in insurance sales or related functions (preferred).
• Active Life Insurance and/or Disability Insurance license issued by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner of Puerto Rico.
