Instructional Support Specialist (PK-12 Content)

About the role

The Instructional Support Specialist provides coaching and guidance to elementary PK‑12 content educators and leaders, helping schools implement student‑centered learning environments. This role combines in‑person and virtual support, data‑driven advice, and coordination of professional development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide coaching (in‑person and virtual) to PK‑12 content educators and educational leaders.
• Guide leadership teams in school‑wide implementation planning, including professional development, job‑embedded learning, and scheduling.
• Foster improvement of teaching practice within elementary PK‑12 content learning environments.
• Implement content instruction in student‑centered settings covering physical space, academic, social, and emotional learning opportunities.
• Advise educators on interpreting data to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proof of U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to pass a Tier 1 background investigation with Childcare Checks.
• Willingness to sign transportation and mobility agreements and to be available for worldwide placement.
• Commitment to respect student and parent privacy.
• Male applicants born after 31 December 1959 must complete a Selective Service certification.
• Direct deposit of pay is required; a two‑year trial period may apply.
