Industrialization Project Engineer (M/F/D)

About the role

As an Industrialization Project Engineer at Bontaz Portugal, you will lead the development and implementation of projects that bring new electromechanical products from concept to production. You will be the central point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring technical, quality, cost and schedule objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and structure project specifications, assess feasibility and define phases, timelines and monitoring methods.
• Identify and coordinate project stakeholders, ensuring resource allocation and cross‑functional alignment.
• Monitor QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) indicators, detect deviations and implement corrective action plans.
• Conduct risk analysis, proactively escalating roadblocks.
• Lead internal, customer and supplier audits.
• Maintain high‑quality project documentation and provide regular reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement across all project phases.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience in industrialization and/or project management, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as IATF, APQP, PPAP is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication across teams and hierarchies.
• Proactive, results‑oriented and comfortable working under pressure.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• MS Project (or similar project management tool).
