Hydraulics Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Hydraulics Test Engineer to join Bosch’s Service Solutions team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for planning, executing and documenting reliability and verification tests on hydraulic components and systems, ensuring they meet Bosch’s high performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed test plans and set up test rigs for hydraulic components.
• Perform pressure, leak and performance tests, collect and analyse data.
• Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot issues such as leaks, low pressure or component failures.
• Document test results, maintain comprehensive records and prepare reports for internal and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and review of reliability test procedures.
• Present findings to development teams and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in hydraulic testing, test‑setup assembly and product failure analysis.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and proactive approach.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
