HVAC Engineer

About the role
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join CALB’s construction team in Sines, Portugal. You will lead the HVAC discipline across our battery and energy storage projects, ensuring high‑quality delivery from design through commissioning.
Key responsibilities
- Manage design, construction and supervision companies for HVAC works.
- Participate in pre‑budget preparation, project bidding and related HVAC processes.
- Oversee the construction phase of HVAC systems, focusing on quality, progress and cost control, and resolve technical issues on site.
- Organise preliminary inspections, completion acceptance, review completion data and handle hand‑over procedures.
- Maintain and repair construction facilities and oversee renovation works.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar HVAC position.
- Relevant industry experience and a degree related to the field.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
