HSE Admin Officer – French Speaker

About the role

The HSE Admin Officer will act as the primary point of contact for workplace and commuting accident reporting, occupational disease management, and related communications. This role supports multiple sites, ensuring compliance with French and European health‑safety regulations while providing timely information to operations, payroll, unions and the QHSE department.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from sites regarding accidents and collect complete incident information.
• Complete official accident declaration forms and submit them to the competent authorities.
• Issue notifications to Operations, Payroll, Unions and HSE teams after each declaration.
• Prepare and send monthly HSE reports to the QHSE department.
• Manage occupational disease declarations, build case files, coordinate with external experts and follow up with stakeholders.
• Maintain digital exchanges with CPAM, process questionnaires and escalate issues as needed.
• Record and manage minor accident (first‑aid) reports in internal systems, ensuring data completeness.
• Send official email notifications to required stakeholders and monitor response timelines.

Required profile

• Administrative, HR, legal or Occupational Health and Safety training (high school diploma to associate degree preferred).
• Experience in call‑center environments, administrative management or occupational health and safety is a plus.
• Understanding of business operations and multi‑site environments.
• Familiarity with occupational accident/health case regulations (training on French rules will be provided).
• Fluent French language skills for phone calls, emails and documentation.
