Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees all housekeeping operations across accommodation, pool, public, crew and other designated areas. Reporting to the Assistant and Housekeeping Managers, the role ensures standards are met, guests and crew receive exceptional service, and the team works safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day housekeeping activities in assigned zones (accommodation, pool, public/crew areas).
• Support the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager in achieving division objectives.
• Maintain cleanliness standards, safety procedures, and proper use of equipment.
• Lead, coach and supervise a team of at least 10 employees.
• Ensure professional and courteous interactions with guests and colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a large 4‑ or 5‑star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line or similar hospitality setting.
• Experience supervising a team of at least 10 staff members.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, safety protocols, PPE and job safety analysis.
• Good command of the English language.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with hospitality software such as SQM, OCIMS, Fidelio, LGA, Medallia and Kronos.
