Housekeeping Assistant Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Assistant Manager supports the Executive Housekeeper in leading housekeeping operations across multiple luxury resort properties. This role blends operational leadership with financial oversight, ensuring consistent guest experiences and efficient use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Executive Housekeeper in managing housekeeping across all properties and accommodation concepts.
• Maintain consistent standards, procedures, and guest experience across locations.
• Adapt operational strategies to occupancy patterns, property characteristics, and business needs.
• Assist in preparing, monitoring, and controlling the housekeeping budget.
• Track and analyse key financial indicators, prepare performance reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop workforce planning models aligned with forecasts and operational requirements.
• Analyse productivity, identify improvement opportunities, and monitor KPIs such as guest satisfaction, cleanliness scores, CPOR, and operational costs.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and operational audits to ensure luxury standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Strong leadership and workforce planning abilities across multiple properties.
• Excellent financial and analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and KPI monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or Tourism.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Portuguese.
