Housekeeper – Facility Maintenance & Cleaning

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment within our medical facility. The role supports FMCNA’s mission by ensuring all patient‑facing areas, equipment and common spaces are regularly cleaned, disinfected, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, waiting areas, bathrooms, kitchens, treatment zones and selected exterior spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment such as televisions, computers, HVAC vents, furniture and dialysis stations.
• Manage waste disposal, including regular, bio‑hazard and recyclable materials according to policy.
• Restock hygiene supplies (soap, sanitizer, paper towels, etc.) and report shortages.
• Identify and report maintenance issues such as leaks, clogged drains or broken fixtures.
• Handle, label, dilute and document disinfectants; operate RO water‑purification machine and perform initial water‑quality testing.
• Perform basic inventory tasks, receive and stock supplies, and assist with minor plant repairs (painting, bulb replacement, etc.).
• Support clinical staff by moving equipment or heavy items when required.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and strong commitment to hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow safety data sheet (MSDS) and hazard identification (HMIS) procedures.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads.
• Reliability and ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
