Help Desk Technician – Level 1 Technical Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Help Desk Technician to join our growing IT team. You will provide first‑line technical support to internal users across our offices in Portugal, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to tickets and calls, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, printers and audiovisual equipment (Cisco).
• Assist users with iPhone, Mac, and Smart Pass devices.
• Maintain user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
• Apply basic IT and cyber‑security best practices while handling incidents.
• Document solutions and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Comfortable working with Microsoft technologies (Windows, Office, Outlook, Excel).
• Good understanding of collaborative tools and their role in a digital workplace.
• Awareness of IT security and cyber‑security principles.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with non‑technical users.
