Head of Technology Hub

About the role

The Head of Technology Hub will lead a multi‑disciplinary technology and digital centre that supports Airbus Portugal’s Global Business Services (GBS). The role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence and innovation to drive digital transformation across internal functions such as HR, Procurement, Finance and Compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Tech Hub vision and strategy, aligning with GBS and global objectives.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, including analytics‑as‑a‑service, AI, and process automation.
• Oversee service delivery, SLA compliance and KPI performance across IT support, data analytics, Scrum, and Automation CoEs.
• Manage budgets, optimise costs and ensure governance, risk and compliance standards.
• Build, mentor and grow a high‑performing team of senior technology professionals.
• Drive proof‑of‑concept and pilot programmes for emerging technologies and scale successful solutions globally.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in technology or digital transformation within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong track record of managing cross‑functional teams and delivering measurable efficiency improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at executive level.
