Head of Finance

About the role

Datamentors is seeking a Head of Finance to own the finance function across its two companies. Reporting directly to senior leadership and the board, you will shape financial strategy, manage treasury, and lead investor relations as the group scales from pilot to serial production.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a finance team, handling hiring, mentoring and process development.
• Define the group’s capital structure, treasury policy and tax planning.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, continuous monitoring and rolling forecasts.
• Prepare, consolidate and analyse monthly accounts, ensuring accuracy.
• Run monthly actual‑vs‑budget analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Develop financial models and 2‑3‑year business forecasts.
• Lead equity and/or debt fundraising rounds and maintain investor relationships.
• Manage relationships with banks, external auditors and institutional partners.
• Ensure legal, tax and regulatory compliance across both entities.
• Continuously improve financial processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• 8+ years of finance experience in senior roles such as Financial Controller, Finance Director or Head of Finance.
• Proven ability to build or scale finance functions in startups or fast‑growing companies.
• Strong track record of leading fundraising rounds and managing investor relations.
• Excellent analytical, strategic and communication skills.
• Autonomous, organised and comfortable interacting with leadership, boards and external stakeholders.
