Head Manager – Café Operations

About the role

As Head Manager of Heim Café, you will set the rhythm for daily operations, ensuring the guest experience reflects Neptune Commune’s standards of care and precision. You will lead the team, safeguard quality, and continuously improve the café’s performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall café operations, tracking income, costs, and inventory levels.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements to meet financial targets.
• Build weekly schedules, maintain proper staffing, and train new and existing team members.
• Provide clear feedback, address performance issues promptly, and foster a motivated team environment.
• Ensure service quality aligns with Neptune’s warmth and professionalism standards.
• Monitor guest feedback, resolve recurring issues, and coordinate special event reservations.
• Maintain compliance with licences, manage supplier relationships, and control purchases.
• Keep the menu current with seasonal offerings and uphold organisational standards across the space.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a hospitality team.
• Ability to spot operational problems and implement solutions.
• Confident, respectful communication style.
• Comfortable being measured on financial and performance metrics.
• Calm under pressure and able to maintain composure during busy periods.
