Graduate Registered Nurse – Entry-Level Role

About the role
This position is a transition‑to‑practice role for newly graduated registered nurses. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a charge nurse or designee and will be eligible to obtain a full RN license within 90 days of hire.
Key responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and services in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act regulations, facility policies, and corporate procedures.
- Collaborate with the charge nurse and healthcare team to deliver safe, patient‑centered care.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Participate in de‑escalation and restraint procedures when required.
Required profile
- Recent graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Registered for the RN licensure exam (temporary nursing permit required until licensure is obtained).
- One or more years of experience as a nursing assistant is preferred.
Required skills
- CPR certification (training provided upon hire).
- De‑escalation and restraint certification.
- First aid certification (may be required based on state or facility).
