Google Workspace Specialist – Nearshore (Lisbon)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Google Workspace Specialist to join our near‑shore team in Lisbon, Portugal. The role involves providing comprehensive technical support and administration for Google Workspace across multiple regions and time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Meet and Calendar.
• Administer Google Workspace accounts, handle user provisioning and manage directories via the Admin Console.
• Assist with user onboarding and training, creating documentation and conducting sessions to drive adoption.
• Monitor system performance, security settings and compliance requirements to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on implementation projects and migration initiatives.
• Analyze user feedback to identify optimisation opportunities and improve processes.
• Maintain organized records of support tickets, resolutions and system configurations.
• Support users in different time zones, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Google Workspace updates, new features and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Google Workspace and providing user support.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and organisational skills.
• Professional communication abilities to support users of varying technical levels.
• Experience working in a near‑shore or remote support environment.
• Familiarity with security and compliance best practices in cloud environments.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and training materials.
• Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
