Global Marketing Senior Director – Content Discoverability

About the role

Boston Consulting Group is reshaping its brand, client engagement and talent outreach through data, AI and digital channels. As the Global Marketing Senior Director for Content Discoverability, you will ensure BCG’s thought leadership and commercial content are visible, credible and authoritative across traditional and AI‑driven search platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategic roadmap for BCG.com, including site architecture, information hierarchy, tagging models and technical performance.
• Define and execute an end‑to‑end content discoverability strategy covering SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and the supporting technology stack.
• Serve as the internal authority on emerging discovery technologies such as LLM citation patterns, AI overviews and zero‑click search trends.
• Lead a globally dispersed, cross‑functional team, setting direction, developing talent and fostering a psychologically safe culture.
• Manage a multi‑million‑dollar annual budget, ensuring effective allocation to technology, talent and governance.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in digital marketing, editorial strategy or product management.
• Strong track record of building and scaling discoverability programs at a global scale.
• Ability to translate complex algorithmic changes into actionable business initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills to partner with editorial, engineering and executive stakeholders.
