German-Speaking Customer Support Specialist (Remote Portugal)

About the role

A fully remote position based in Portugal, recruiting German-speaking Customer Support Specialists to deliver customer service for an international consumer brand. You will be the main contact for German-speaking users, handling product and account questions by phone, email and live messaging, troubleshooting service requests and helping users navigate the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional and prompt assistance in German via phone, email and live messaging
• Help customers with account settings, orders, billing and service updates
• Diagnose problems and guide users to clear solutions
• Maintain high CSAT scores and accurate logging of cases in the CRM
• Report recurring issues to team leads and collaborate on complex cases

Required profile

• Native or near-native German (C1/C2), written and spoken
• English at B2 level or higher for internal tools and teamwork
• Customer-focused, with good listening, empathy and problem solving
• Self-disciplined and reliable for autonomous remote work
• Must already live in Portugal with valid work eligibility, tax (NIF) and social security registration; no relocation support
• Prior experience in customer service, contact centres, hospitality or retail is an advantage

Required skills

• Comfortable using several digital apps, chat tools and ticketing software at once
• Clear verbal communication and professional written grammar
