German Customer Support Agent – Lisbon

About the role

We are seeking a fluent German speaker to deliver high‑quality support to our German‑speaking customers from our Lisbon office. The role involves handling inquiries via phone, email and chat, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and professionally while representing Cognizant’s standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional assistance to German‑language clients across phone, email and chat channels.
• Develop deep product knowledge to deliver accurate, informed responses.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Record detailed interaction logs and support requests.
• Share client feedback with internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain a professional, empathetic tone in all communications.

Required profile

• Fluent in German with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in English for collaboration with international teams.
• Previous customer‑service experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Patient, customer‑first attitude with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
