General Manager – Puerto Rico & Caribbean

About the role

Ferrero is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its Puerto Rico market and export operations across the Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, and the wider Caribbean (excluding the French Islands and Cuba). Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, you will shape and execute the commercial strategy to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall commercial strategy for Puerto Rico and designated export markets.
• Develop annual business plans and budgets aligned with regional priorities.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with distributors and key retail partners such as Walmart, Costco, and Sam's Club.
• Lead sales, marketing, and trade‑marketing initiatives to increase brand penetration.
• Apply global and U.S. best practices, including Joint Business Planning and Innovation Sessions.
• Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and adjust tactics to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality, freshness, and Ferrero policy standards.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing leadership team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (required); MBA or advanced business degree (preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in consumer packaged goods, food, or related sectors.
• Proven track record of driving profitable growth and market share expansion.
