General Ledger & Reporting Senior Accountant

Ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Join Eurofins' international Shared Services Center as a Senior General Ledger & Reporting Accountant. You will own and improve key finance processes while supporting business‑critical decisions across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead General Ledger activities, ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance during month‑end close.
• Review and approve complex journal entries and accounting treatments.
• Supervise full accounting scope (AP, AR, Inventory, Treasury, Intercompany) for assigned entities.
• Manage Fixed Assets processes and complex reconciliations, including intercompany and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Own corporate reporting packages (e.g., Cognos) and support VAT, tax reporting and audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Act as a trusted partner for stakeholders, mentor junior team members and serve as backup for the Team Leader.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3.5+ years of Record‑to‑Report experience, preferably in an SSC/BPO environment.
• Strong ownership mindset, proactive problem‑solving and ability to lead complex topics independently.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills in a dynamic, international setting.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
• Proficiency with ERP systems and reporting tools such as Cognos.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, automation and validation.
• Experience with audits, tax processes and complex reconciliations.
